Peanut Butter Granola Recipe

Cooking spray

3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

1 cup Cheerios cereal

1/3 cup oat bran

1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped

2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup peanut butter

1/3 cup applesauce

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

Methods

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F / 150°C. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine oats, Cheerios, oat bran, walnuts and cinnamon.

  3. In a medium saucepan, melt peanut butter over medium heat. Add applesauce, honey, and Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. Bring to a boil. Cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently.

  4. Pour applesauce mixture over oat mixture. Stir to coat. Pour mixture into baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
