Lamb Steaks Oriental Style Recipe Low Carb

4 lamb steaks

1/4 tsp ground ginger

2 tsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp garlic salt

2 tsp sherry

1 tsp olive oil

2 tsp soy sauce

1 large onion, sliced into thin wedges

2 stalks celery, sliced

1 capsicum, sliced

1 tbsp cornflour

1/2 cup water

Cooking Methods

  1. Trim fat from steaks then snip edges to prevent curling.

  2. Mix together ginger, sugar, garlic, salt, soy sauce, and sherry in a shallow dish. Marinate lamb in mixture while preparing vegetables.

  3. Heat oil then saute onion, celery and capsicum until soft.

  4. Add cornflour to vegetables then pour in water mixed with marinade poured off the lamb. Stir until boiling.

  5. Pat lamb steaks dry then either grill or dry fry.

  6. Pour sauce over steaks and serve with rice.
