Pineapple Pistachio Pork Chops Low Carb

4 boneless pork loin chops (about 4 oz each)

1/4 tsp garlic salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp olive oil

Cooking spray

1 8-oz can crushed pineapple in juice, drained

2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

3 Tbsp hulled pistachios, chopped and toasted

Cooking Methods

  1. Season pork chops well with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. Add oil to a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté chops for 6-8 minutes or until nicely browned, turning once. Remove from pan, keep warm.
  3. Spray pan with cooking spray. Add pineapple and balsamic vinegar and simmer for 5-7 minutes or until sauce takes on a glaze-like consistency.
  4. Pour pineapple sauce over pork chops. Top with pistachios.
