500g fish fillets, boned and skinned

1 packet mushroom soup mix

6 shallots, finely chopped

440g canned asparagus cuts, drained, liquid reserved

1/2 cup white wine or water

ground pepper to taste

Cooking Methods

  1. Arrange fish fillets over the base of a lightly greased baking dish.

  2. Combine soup mix with shallots, reserved asparagus liquid, wine and pepper.

  3. Pour over fish fillets then top with asparagus cuts.

  4. Bake in a moderately hot oven 190 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes.

  5. Serve with jacket potatoes and green beans.
