Braised Artichokes with Wine, Garlic and Olive Oil Recipe

8 medium artichokes

3 cups white wine

1 cup olive oil

6 cloves garlic

8-10 sprigs fresh thyme

1 lemon, halved and seeds removed

1/2 tsp salt

Cooking Methods

  1. Cut off the fibrous part of stem and discard. Remove and discard the darker and toughest leaves. Using as sharp knife, trim away the tops of the leaves.
