6 (4-ounce) tuna steaks (1/2 inch thick)

Vegetable cooking spray

1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, melted

Fresh thyme sprigs (optional)

Lime wedges (optional)

Cooking Methods

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl and stir well. Rub tuna steaks with pepper mixture.

  2. Coat grill rack with cooking spray; place on grill over medium-hot (350 to 400 degrees) coals. Place tuna on rack; drizzle with margarine, and grill 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until tuna flakes easily when tested with a fork.

  3. If desired, garnish with thyme sprigs and lime wedges (not included in analysis).
