Tilapia Tacos

 

Ingredients

3 limes, juiced

1 tsp hot sauce

1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped

4 tilapia fillets (about 1.35 lb)

1 tsp chili pepper

1/4 tsp salt (optional)

1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Cooking spray

8 small 6-inch whole-wheat tortillas, warmed

Cooking Methods

  1. In a medium bowl, combine lime juice, hot sauce and cilantro. Add fish to marinade and marinate in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove fish from marinade and season with chili pepper, salt (optional) and pepper.
  3. Coat a large sauté pan with cooking spray. Sauté fish over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove fish from pan and shred into large pieces.
  5. In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients.
  6. Evenly divide fish among eight tortillas. Top each taco with a dollop of sour cream soup.
