Fun Facts / Cooking Tips

You could further improve this fresh vegetables recipe to provide healthier diets for diabetics. Simply add 2-4 tbsp unprocessed, uncooked wheat bran and 1 tbsp water to every 1/4 cup dry grits. This will increase the volume and the fiber content of the grits without changing the flavor significantly.
