Steamed Cauliflower with Tarragon Recipe Low Carb

1 cauliflower head

1 1/2 cup water

1 tbsp butter

1 tbsp minced fresh tarragon

1/4 tsp white pepper

Cooking Methods

  1. Remove any leaves from the cauliflower head and discard. Rinse with cold water and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, bring water and butter to a simmer. Place the head of cauliflower in the pot. Sprinkle with tarragon and white pepper. Cover.
  3. Steam the cauliflower for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Remove the cauliflower from the pot and place in a serving dish.
  4. Simmer liquid in pot until liquid has been reduced to one-third of the original volume. Pour the reduced cooking liquid over the cauliflower head and serve immediately.
